Opening Night this year showcases some of the cream of the latest talent alongside some of the most respected circuit favourites.

Silky
A versatile, funny and hugely likeable performer, Silky has been a favourite on the comedy circuit for years. He describes himself as a comedian, musician, writer and "all the other things people say they do when they don't really have to get up too early"

"A performer whose genuine charm captures his crowd. I urge you to go and see for yourself" ***** Three Weeks
"A very, very funny fella...just brilliant" - John Bishop
"Likeable, laidback Liverpudlian...a natural storyteller with an unforced warmth that unites the gathered group of strangers" - Chortle
"Not only is he funnier than me, but he is also better at the guitar." - Boo Hewerdine

Nick Page
Nick headlines comedy clubs across the country and has worked extensively abroad. He has a great story-telling style, always at one with his audience and highly engaging, without resorting to hackery and old jokes or being pointlessly sweary.
"Rogueish...Bearlike and with a host of barely believable stories about life, love and brushes with the law" - Guardian
"The very best story teller on the comedy circuit" - Rhod Gilbert

Dave Williams
Dave is a top quality, experienced circuit comedian, whose crisp one-liners and surreal nonsense have earned him headline slots at some of the most prestigious comedy clubs both here and abroad.

Bethan Roberts
Winner of Bath Comedy Festival New Act of the Year 2015 and one of the UK's most promising young comedians on the circuit. She's witty, sarcastic, some might say deluded (especially her mother) but more often than not she's a right good laugh.

Bilal Zafar
Bilal is a British Muslim comedian and wry storyteller who won the NATYS Award in January 2016. He is best known for his humorous stories about experiencing racism and islamophobia.

LJ Da Funk
The brainchild of Leicester Square Comedian of the Year 2015, Zak Splijt, LJ Da Funk is a self-styled New York gangster; he is loud, brash, and full of energy. LJ tells jokes that are ostensibly idiotic but with wit and wisdom bubbling under the surface, on topics ranging from Enoch Powell and Ugandan homophobia, to his myriad yet always disastrous sexual encounters.
