Double bill of work-in-progress shows from two most prolific and exciting comedians.

Bec Hill is an Australian-born-London-based comedian, presenter and fool. She is best known for her Twitter presence, her "live animations" on YouTube, and her recent stint co-hosting Sky's DC Fancast. John Barrowman once kissed her on the lips and it confused her.

"Bec Hill: exuberant, daft and inventive." **** The Scotsman
"There's something special about Bec Hill." **** The Times

Sarah Bennetto is a stand-up from Melbourne, now based in London. You can catch her doing new solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe every year, music festivals, comedy clubs, and she can also be heard on BBC Radio 4, Glastonbury backstage radio and NTS's Mix-Tape. She is the host of Storytellers' Club, the cult comedians-telling-stories comedy club.

"Self-depreciating, dark, honest and genuinely funny. One of the most enjoyable and original shows I’ve seen this year. It had me laughing out loud more times than I could count." ****½ The Advertiser newspaper, Adelaide
"A sophisticated mix of standup and character comedy, Bennetto succeeds in harnessing the full power of an instinctive comedic mind." **** Fest magazine, Edinburgh
"Superb. Devastating. Edges towards perfection." **** ThreeWeeks, UK

Stuart Goldsmith - Compared to What

Date: Thursday 2nd March, 2017
Venue: Widcombe Social Club
Doors: 7.30pm for 8.00pm show
Duration: 110min incl interval
Price: £10 / £8 concs (see below *)

Fresh from appearances on 'Russell Howard's Stand Up Central' (Comedy Central), 'As Yet Untitled' (Dave) and a month of packed houses at the Edinburgh Fringe, Stuart Goldsmith presents a new hour of funny, not entirely about becoming a parent.

The host of the 'Comedian's Comedian Podcast' (over 6 million downloads) finally shakes off an invigoratingly misspent youth. Finding himself uprooted from his adoptive city and press-ganged into a pastoral existence by a cunning girl, Stu considers the big questions and wonders: how much compromise is too much?

"A charming, expert stand-up" - Sunday Times

"Endlessly riveting" - Guardian

"Makes it look easy" – Chortle
