This year will be Mervís 31st year performing at the Edinburgh Fringe where his Pick of the Fringe showcase - "Itís like the Royal Variety Show of the Fringe" - will celebrate it's 26th year making it the longest running show in the history of the Festival. Clearly the King of the Fringe.

He tours his live solo music and comedy shows regularly each year and audiences love him. He is irreverent, funny, affectionate, acerbic, clever but clean. He chats a bit, tells a few jokes, makes some pithy observations, with lots of clever comedy songs on guitar.

"Celebrating the trivial and attacking the absurd he gives us a seriously funny show" - The Scotsman

"All of his songs have one thing in common - they are astute, funny, often gentle but always jam-packed with clever lyrics" - Radio Times

"Stutter is a sharp as any, as funny as any and more informed than most" - The Times

"For comedy straight from the heart they donít come much better than Mervyn" - Edinburgh Post

"Hilarious songs" - The Observer

"He is brilliant" - The Guardian

"The comedy voice of the Baby Boom Generation" - Daily Telegraph
