The Sailing Stones perform original songs written by singer songwriter Pete Lane.
At its core a guitar duo with Pete Lane & Ed Dutfield. The Stones draw from a talented collective of guest lead players to perform as a trio. The Sailing Stones sit happily in several categories from modern folk / Americana, to classic & contemporary acoustic pop.

The Sailing stones songs journey through various styles, tempos & dynamics, with a blend of moods, messages & emotions. Bringing an easy laid back feeling with foot tapping vibes; lyrically engaging, sonically pleasing, with a mixture of sweet & sour tongue in-cheek humour, adding an extra layer and personality to the songs.
