Innes Sibun Trio - Live at the Belvoir Castle
Date: Friday 7th August, 2026
Venue: The Belvoir Castle
Doors: for 8.30pm start
Duration: 2hrs incl interval

Stalwart of the Bath (and World!) circuit, we're always delighted to welcome back Innes, with his handpicked "trio"...actually a quartet featuring John Baggott (famous for Portishead but with an incredible talent for blues piano), and fellow legends Jerry Soffe on bass and the ubiquitous Mike Hoddinott on drums!
A little history:
Formed in the early 90s, The Innes Sibun Blues Explosion toured relentlessly through Europe both on their own and opening for the likes of Johnny Winter, Peter Green & Taj Mahal as well as playing with bands like the Waterboys & Boy George. Their first album 'That's What The Blues Can Do' was voted No. 1 Blues album in Ireland.
Notably, keyboard player John Baggott joined Portishead and guitarist Innes Sibun was asked to join Robert Plant for the 'Fate Of Nations' tour of America, South America & Europe. The lads have got back together again to prove the old magic is still there!
Free entry (bring a few quid for the "hat")
The Belvoir Castle, 32-33 Lower Bristol Road, Bath, United Kingdom, BA2 3EH
The Belvoir is also home to the famous Pollocks of Bath - lush fish and chips and a pint £14 available until 8.30pm before the band.
