With a unique sound and sensibility that's all his own, this new music mines a deep vibe that draws on everything from straight-up blues to bright folk-rock, to brooding, improvisational riffs in a Grateful Dead mode.
Clayton honed his musical chops for years down in Woodstock with some of Dylan's old comrades, and worked the proving grounds in the clubs of New York City, Montreal, Toronto & London.
In a world reeling drunkenly on the edge of the abyss, here is a common man with an uncommon talent and the courage to keep carving out a space where the soul can thrive in the middle of the raging storm.
"Have not heard anything that recalls so much Basement Tapes era Dylan/Band (with undertones of other Cosmick Americk artists the good ol' Grateful Dead) in a long time. Extra bonus, Denwoods self-penned songs are rather good themselves!" - Steve Henwood, Bath Fringe
Free entry (bring a few quid for the "hat")
The Belvoir Castle, 32-33 Lower Bristol Road, Bath, United Kingdom, BA2 3EH
The Belvoir is also home to the famous Pollocks of Bath - lush fish and chips and a pint £14 until 8.30pm before the band!
