A one man war on musical mediocrity, Andy Kershaw doesn't follow. He leads. A DJ who breaks the rules and dares to play something different.

Award-winning radio broadcaster and foreign correspondent Andy Kershaw pretty much single-handedly introduced world music to Radio 1.

Tonight he takes to the decks to serve up an infectious blend of dance music from Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America – Soukouss to Salsa, Roots Reggae to Rai, Soca to South African Township Jive. And all points in between.

The place is going to be jumping!

"The world’s greatest DJ" - The Guardian

The Radio Bath Party kicks off at 6pm and features Shaun Smith, the Friday Night Fry Up team at 7pm and Dave Mason at 8pm, before handing over the reigns to our super special guest DJ from 9pm.

NB: Entry is free before 9pm, but you can make a donation to the Radio Bath charity. Please purchase a ticket to ensure entry to Andy Kershaw after 9pm.
