Doyenne of Bath's cultural scene, star of stage, screen and switch-on, her ladyship invites you to join her and her eccentric entourage for a night of fun, frolics, bad spelling and above all, FABULOUS PRIZES!! A groaning prize trolley-full of vouchers, goodies and pickled eggs in fact.
The throne has been resprayed, the bingo cage oiled and the dictionary of bingo phrases consulted, so it’s eyes down for a full house if my Kelly’s eye is not mistaken!
Lady Margaret’s friends will be there to satisfy your/her every whim, including Valentino di Spiva on quality control (and throwing out cheats), and wrinkled retainer Potter keeping her ladyship’s schooner of British Fortified Wine well topped up.
Celebrity fashion diva Mary Q will take us on a journey through Lady Margaret’s frocks across the ages, and musical interludes (and preludes) will be supplied by the famous Pramophone and lounge lizard Allan Sherwin.
She-who-cannot-be-refused AKA the Raffle Queen will be patrolling the tables and you can expect at least one past her sell by date Christmas fairy to add that certain sparkle!
This is fabulous fun-filled fundraiser for Widcombe Social Club but is also the Social Event of the Year! Help the club's recovery after the Covid years.
