The Bath Comedy Festival New Act Competition sees over 100 of the best up-and-coming comics in the UK compete for the title of Bath Comedy Festival New Act Of The Year, and associated prizes.
There are twelve heats running throughout the Festival at Nowhere - a fabulous new bar and venue, judged by established figures from the world of comedy, and compered by a different professional comedian each night.
Tonight's compere is Alan Francis - since winning So you Think You’re Funny in 1991 Edinburgh Festival, Alan has been a regular on the UK and International Comedy Circuits, as well as appearing on many TV and Radio Shows.
