New Act Competition 2026 - Heat 7
The Bath Comedy Festival New Act Competition sees around 100 of the best up-and-coming comics in the UK compete for the title of Bath Comedy Festival New Act Of The Year, and associated prizes.
There are nine heats running throughout the Festival at The Belvoir Castle pub, judged by established figures from the world of comedy, and compered by a different professional comedian each night.
Tonight's compere is Neil McFarlane - cool, but assured, deadpan delivery and years of experience have made him a firm favourite on the UK circuit and well beyond.
The winner of each heat plus three wild cards will take part in the Grand Final which will be held, for the third year running, at the splendid Old Theatre Royal main house - on Sunday 19th April.
The Belvoir Castle is a proper pub with proper prices, and also home to the famous Pollocks Fish & Chips!
