Madeleine Brettingham is a writer and rising star on the stand-up circuit, who's recently scooped a string of competition wins, starting with Bath Comedy Festival New Act Of The Year and going on to win the prestigious So You Think You're Funny 2025 and taking silver in Funny Women in the same year, a unique double.
She's been praised for her "distinctive worldview" (Chortle), "tight and gag-packed" writing (Bruce Dessau), and "knack for blending offbeat observations with pacey, unexpected punchlines" (The List).
Join her at the Ring O Bells to see a work-in-progress of her debut show which will be at Edinburgh Fringe in August.
