Catch Phil Wathern and Abi Myles testing out new material live - expect sharp jokes, playful energy, and plenty of laughs as these rising comedians shape their next big sets in Bath’s underground comedy club.
Phil Wathern is a Bristol-based comedian gaining attention on the UK comedy circuit for his joke-packed routines and deceptively laid-back delivery. He takes big themes like life, death and football and refines them into punchy, sharply written material that audiences warm to immediately. Phil has been a finalist in Stand Up For Cider and the Philly Cup new act competitions and has appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe in shows like Man of Few Words, earning praise for strong writing and stage presence.
Abi Myles is a rising stand-up comic and regular on regional comedy nights. She brings a playful energy and engaging voice to her sets, often mixing observational humour with sharp punchlines - a style that works beautifully in the unpredictable environment of a Work In Progress show. Abi has been featured on line-ups alongside established comics at events like the Rebel Rebel Comedy Night, demonstrating her growing presence on the UK comedy scene.
